Living Room, Serie of posters

Living Room is a poster project combining custom lettering, isometric illustration and writing to explore themes of intimacy, memory and disappearance through the representation of a domestic space. The title incorporates two facing profiles within the letterforms, introducing notions of presence and absence while creating a dialogue between human relationships and architectural space.

All of this work has allowed me to experiment with combining several mediums—3D illustration, vector drawing, lettering, visual composition—and to explore my graphic approach.

Guides for Stella, L'amie de Maimie

Graphic design of a reference guide for community organizations and groups that draw on the expertise of people with lived experience. The document compiles archives, experiential knowledge, and practices developed within Stella, L’Amie de Maimie, to convey a philosophy of action based on self-determination, peer support, and collective empowerment.

The project aimed to visually convey dense content deeply rooted in lived experience. The design work focused on editorial organization, readability, navigation between different levels of information, and the highlighting of community knowledge through an accessible and structured print publication.

Guides for Blossoming Project

A series of publications developed for the Blossoming project by the Coalition of LGBTQ+ Youth Groups. The guides support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth groups in developing their organizational practices, particularly in the areas of governance, collaboration, knowledge transfer, and financial management.

The visual system developed for the collection draws inspiration from the concept of blooming as a metaphor for individual and collective growth (Blossoming). Through a combination of organic textures, beaded patterns, and shapes evoking transformation, the graphic identity seeks to visually convey the values of mutual support, learning, and empowerment that underpin the project.

Posters for fictional projects

This series of posters for various fictional projects offers an aesthetic based on grain, texture, and bitmap rendering as graphic materials. The altered photographic treatment—marked contrasts, duotones, pixelation—places the images between figuration and abstraction, where patterns, textures, and digital noise effects give the images an organic dimension. The lettering, composed by me, is sometimes massive, sometimes dynamic in composition. The whole offers images where digital material and typography become the main vectors of expression.

Set of slides and banners for the visual identity of a fundraiser

The Coalition of LGBTQ+ Youth Groups is the organization that coordinates the l'Astérisk project. Its mission is to offer resources that facilitates collaboration between Quebec LGBTQ+ youth groups and to raise awareness about the realities and struggles of LGBTQ+ youth. The L'astérisk project manager and space coordinator are the employees coordinating some programs using, and maintaining l'astérisk. They facilitate sharing resources, best practices, and collaborations between the Colocs and local community groups working on projects and services for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

As a draftsman, sculptor, and collector, Thiên Ngoc Ngô-Rioufol explores the history of various marginalized communities, tracing their unexpected intersections and points of encounter.The artist displays a series of new works in the exhibition space, using wood, pearls, painting, bones, and bronze to engrave and inscribe stories that blend the present, past, and future.

The purpose of this project is to support individuals who are seeking gender-affirming surgeries by helping alleviate some of the financial and post-surgical burdens they face. Many gender-affirming procedures, while essential for mental and physical well-being, can be cost-prohibitive and are not always fully covered by insurance. Additionally, the recovery process can be challenging, requiring various medical supplies, comfort items, and self-care products that can add to the financial strain.

The PIaMP (Project for Intervention with Underage Prostitutes) has a mandate to listen to, support, and assist anyone aged 12 to 25 who exchanges or is likely to exchange sexual services for any form of remuneration. The PIaMP takes a comprehensive and humanistic approach, based on harm reduction. The organization does not take a position for or against the exchange of sexual services: it bases its actions on the experiences of young people and their expressed needs.
